Jake's Picks:

Archie #1 Archie is back at issue #1 just in time for his 75th anniversary.  It's a great starting point for readers of all ages and has some of the best talent in the business working on it with Mark Waid and Fiona Staples.

Master of Kung Fu #3 This little martial arts corner of the Marvel universe is doing everything right and is one of the best Secret Wars tie-ins out right now.  Shang-Chi is fighting to usurp his father's throne and become the emperor of K'un-Lun, but to do that he'll have to battle his way through the Thirteen Chambers.  It's an action-packed series that you don't want to miss.

Lando #1 Lando finally has his own series!  Lando is a character who we don't know much about, so to see him in a solo series is a great opportunity for us to learn more about his back story.  With the stellar creative team of Charles Soule and Alex Maleev, this is  Star Wars meets Ocean's Eleven that you have to check out.

Mike's Picks:

Batman #42 This is the most awkward take on Batman to date and it really shows the struggle Jim Gordon has trying to be a Batman within the law.

Amazing Spider-Man Renew Your Vows #2 It's been a long time since Peter Parker and Mary Jane have been husband and wife.  It's nice to go back to the idea that Spider-Man is not only fighting for New York but for his family as well.  Plus having Venom back is like reading a 90's Spidey comic, it's a lot of fun.

Descender #5 It's always interesting to see a story where a child has the weight of the world on their shoulders.  Plus who doesn't love a story with giant mechs?  Jeff Lemire delivers a great sci-fi comic here that is a must read.
